We build our panniers using heavy number four canvas with cordura-lined bottoms and a cordura lid that fits over the panniers keeping valuable items in and debris out. There are D-rings in each corner to attach a rain cover over the entire load. If you have purchased a pannier from us, we strongly urge you not to use the D-rings to attach top loads or other gear.

A strap attaches from the front center of the panniers to the rear of the panniers. After the Panniers are loaded and placed on the Llama the strap should be tightened to keep the panniers from drooping down heavy and hot on the Llamas sides.
